1. My e-bike battery is repaired  but do not get the expected mileage. What should I do?
Because AccuCompany increases the capacity in many cases, the battery indicator on the bike will behave differently with a new battery. Best of all, you can completely unload your bike battery for the first time (so that you have no more tangible support for your battery). Thus, you know the action radius of your new battery.

The first +/- 5 times charging and discharging will increase your bike battery in action radius, after which it becomes stable.

Unfortunately, we can not tell you exactly how many kilometers you can cycle with a certain capacity. At point two, we can give you a rough indication. This has to do with several factors as indicated below;

Step Support: The amount of support determines how much power the battery must deliver to the tram
Tire tension: tire rolling resistance determines how much energy has to be delivered to achieve a certain speed
Circumstances: environmental factors such as the slope of the road and the wind have a major influence on the amount of energy demanded from the engine
Outdoor temperature: at low temperatures, battery capacity increases to 20%
engine / drive efficiency
Driving: Select a slight gear during startup and maintaining a constant speed ensures more efficient power supply

2. How many kilometers can I ride my new e-bike battery?
To calculate how many kilometers you can cycle with your battery, is it important that you know the number of Wh. You can calculate this by multiplying the voltage with the current (eg 25.9V × 9Ah = 233Wh). The higher the number of Watts, the higher the kilometers.

3. My bike battery I want to repair is not on the website. What should I do?
If your bike battery is not on the website, do not say we can not review it. We would like to receive a few pictures of the battery by e-mail (info@accu-company.nl) to assess whether we can review them and what are the possible costs.

In the e-mail you can indicate which brand is the bicycle, which year and what the battery specifications are.

4. Can I put more capacity in my bike battery?
Yes, that's possible! The greater the capacity, the more cycling kilometers you can make with the battery. The battery will not be more powerful.

5. Are replica batteries of equivalent quality as my original battery?
Accupacks are made of small rechargeable cells. The quality of the cell and the combination of cells determine the quality of the battery pack. Our battery packs are made from cells tested and selected by us. The chart below shows the difference between our battery packs and a pack of a well-known brand. This test used a 2Ah battery pack. As you can see in the chart, the battery pack of our own brand meets the specifications.

6. Can I put a larger capacity toolbag in my machine?
The capacity of a battery is expressed in Ah. By default, the lowest capacity is supplied (usually 1.3Ah or 1.5Ah). The price of a battery is usually proportional to the capacity. We deliver batteries from 1.5Ah but also have larger capacities of many models.

A larger capacitance is not harmful to the machine, because the machine is not getting stronger. You can best compare the capacity with a car's tank content. The larger the capacity (larger tank) the longer you can drill, screw or cycle.

7. Can I use a NiMH battery in my machine while NiCD Original is included?
Battery technology (NiCd or NiMH) is not important for the machine, the machine can operate properly on both batteries. However, the charging current for these types is different, so check that your charger is suitable for the correct battery. Chargers that have been sold for the past 10 years are usually suitable for both types of batteries.

8. What is the difference between NiCD, NiMH and Li-ion?
There are many rumors the round about the chemistry of the batteries. Most problems and / or complaints relate to memory effects and hence decrease the useful life. However, this is only the case with the NiCD (Ni-CaD) batteries. From January 2017, these cells can no longer be imported, so the latest models will be sold in 2017.

NiMH and Li-ion have (almost) no memory effect. There is no quality difference between NiMH (Nickel Metal Hydrdide) or Li-ion (Lithium Ion). The big difference between these two chemicals is the weight. Li-ion is 40% lighter in weight, so it's possible to make more bike shots, especially in the case of bike batteries.

9. Can any battery / utility battery be charged with a quick charger?
No, for normal quality batteries, slower charging is better for battery life than quick charging. The better quality batteries, the longlife batteries, can be loaded with a quick charger. A quick charger charges the battery in 1 hour.

However, always note that the battery will not be left in the charger for too long if it is fully charged. This also affects the life of a battery.

10. You give a one-year warranty period, but according to European legislation this must be two years. How is that possible?

Many consumers believe that there is a two-year legal guarantee in the European Union. However, that is not correct. The European Sales and Warranty Guidelines have a two-year term, but this is the expiration date for the seller's liability and no warranty period. The expiration date means that the seller can not be held liable for defects that reveal themselves only two years after purchase. This means that, after two years, consumers with defects in a durable product can no longer be with the seller.

11. What is the charging state of my power battery?

Is your battery refurbished with us? Then your battery is fully charged and you can use it immediately. Did you buy a completely new bike battery or a tool kit? Then it is wise to recharge the battery before using it.
